In the weeks and months leading up to Vanessa and Andrew's wedding, Andrew's parents had manicured their beautiful Merrijig property, erecting a gazebo, defining pathways, painting the bridge across the dam and generally getting the property "ceremony ready". The weather forecast on the morning of the wedding was not looking favourable for an outdoor ceremony with low temperatures and rain approaching but no one breathed a word about the possibility of moving the ceremony indoors.
Surrounded by the warmth of family and friends, the rain and hail held off just long enough for a perfect ceremony and we even had the odd patch of sun peak out from behind the clouds.
Congratulations Andrew and Vanessa and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.
