Does it get any better than this?! Magnificent views, great friends and perfect weather when Julie and Chris were married by local celebrant, Mary-Anne Egan in an intimate ceremony at this stunning private property in Tolmie.
As one of only four witnesses to this union it was such a privilege to be a part of their day. There's something really beautiful about an elopement- just the couple declaring their love and commitment to each other in a very personal way. Its all about the couple and it was so lovely to see Julie and Chris so relaxed and just enjoying their day together.
This wedding also marked my first in the Mansfield region since moving from Melbourne. While still photographing weddings in Melbourne it was lovely to be able to photograph in this magnificent part of Victoria. Driving up through the Mansfield forest and its mountain ash trees towards the peak and the sense of peace and serenity its hard not to be ... except for taking a wrong turn and ending up on a 4wd track without a 4wd it was perfect!
